Team Building through Drums - Community through Rhythm
Did you know that music was a makeshift solution to problem in our developmental history?
As people began to join together in ever larger groups, “de-lousing” had to be replaced with another the socializing force capable of enforcing bonds between larger societies. Today it is suspected that this is the reason why music became so widely accepted: It reached every single individual, and furthermore it created a bond to all the other members of a group.
For thousands of years, drums have been used at special occasions to create a strong feeling of community. No one can resist the magical attraction of intoxicating rhythms – and this effect is even greater when one is playing the drums themselves in the middle of a group.
Team building drumming events have an effect on multiple levels:
